Things I Hate: Laundry, Shaving, Buying Razors To Shave.

So I hate doing laundry. We've discussed. Let me tell you, I hate shaving more. What makes me hate it EVEN MORE??? Paying tons on the stinkin' razors I need to do it...

Salt to the wounds of my cut-up, post-shave face!

Let's talk about a decent deal at Walgreens right now on these rip-offs things. Took advantage of this one, then ended up rolling it into the big savings I blogged about earlier.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor is on sale at Walgreens for $9.99. The matching 4 pack of razors is also on sale for $15.99. Right there the two items combined are $25.98.

Here, just take my wallet...

Well it got better. Walgreens is giving you a $4 Register Reward when you buy the ProGlide razor. How nice. Buy the razor along with the ProGlide 4 or 8 pack, they'll throw in an additional $3 Register Reward! How very nice! Then the P&G insert from this past Sunday's Jackson Sun had a $5 off coupon in it when you buy the ProGlide razor with the matching ProGlide 4 or 8 pack!

How Very Nice Nice!

Here's the Breakdown:
Walgreens: Combo Sales Price = $25.98. Combo Sales Price - P&G Coupon - Register Rewards = $13.98! Savings of roughly 45%!

Now you can't instantly redeem the Register Rewards, they are only good towards your next purchase. So you will pay $20.98 plus tax for the razor and 4 pack. But you will walk out of the store with $7 worth of coupons on anything at Walgreens.

I didn't walk out though, I made them do a seperate transaction. That transaction would be the one I blogged about below! I used the $4 Register Reward, along with other coupons previously mentioned, to get the 2x Clearasil Face Washes, 4x Progresso Soups, and a can of Maxwell House Coffee for under $4 (saving over 80%)! I then used the $3 Register Reward to get another can of Maxwell House Coffee (which is 50% off, on sale for $2.99 btw) for free!

Not bad in the end.

Ladies, I believe there is a very similar deal running for you on razors at Target right now. I'll look into it and post on it tomorrow.

That's it for now, I gotta go cut-up my face shave so I'm ready to go in the morning...
Mike
