Dollar General has it on sale this week for $3.50 a bottle (28 loads). Not to brag or anything, but I'm the mayor of the one on North Highland (according to Foursquare). Anyway, there was a $1 off coupon in the SmartSource of the Sunday edition of the Jackson Sun.

Target has it on price cut this week to $4.49 (Still going as of Sunday). In addition to using the $1 off coupon from the paper, there is an additional $1 off printable coupon on Target's coupon website:  http://coupons.target.com/

Here's the Breakdown:
Dollar General: Regular Price - $5.00. Sale Price - $3.50. Sale Price - Coupon = $2.50! Savings of 50%!
Target: Regular Price - $4.99. Price Cut - $4.49. Price Cut - Coupon - Printable Coupon = $2.49! Savings of 50%!

Bought 2 bottles from each place, Dollar General on N. Highland and Target on the Bypass.

Great savings. I still hate folding laundry...

I'm A Man... And I Eat Lean Cuisine!

Cause it's dirt cheap right now...

So breakfast is at 3:00 AM (See previous post). That means lunch for me is at 9:00 (if not sooner). I gotta get up, presentable, and out the door early to be on the air by 5:30. It's great to be able to just grab a frozen meal from the freezer before running out the door, then heat it up later at work in a microwave my employers bought back in 1975. Hey if it ain't broke, don't fix it! (or replace it...)

So both Kroger and Target are having deals on these right now. That deal is 5 for $10. Pretty good as is, but of course it gets better. If you were a good boy or girl, you did your homework and clipped coupons this weekend! The SmartSource insert in the Jackson Sun had a $1 off coupon when you buy 5 Lean Cuisines. So now we're down to 5 for $9. It gets better though... at least at Target! When you buy 10, you receive a $5 gift card (good towards next purchase though). Still, use two SmartSource $1 off 5 coupons and basically you're looking at 10 Lean Cuisine meals for $13.00. $1.30 a piece! Worked for me at the Target on the 45 Bypass in Jackson. There it is. Un...believable.

Kroger: Sale Price = 5 for $10. Sale Price - 2x SmartSource Coupons = 5 for $9 or $1.80/each! Savings of roughly 35%
Target: Sale Price = 10 for $20. Sale Price - 2x SmartSource Coupons = 10 for $18. Sale Price - Coupons - $5 Target Gift Card = 10 for $13 or $1.30/each! Savings of roughly 55%!  

There's your lunch for $1.30/day (or $2.60/day if you need to eat two) and ready in under 3:00 minutes! Unless you're me... 5:00 minutes on high, stop, rotate 180 degrees, and then another 3:30 on high... on a good day.

Question: Will I get tired of eating 4 Cheese Lean Cuisine Pizzas at lunch everyday for the next two weeks straight?

Answer: No!
